Lamp compatibility information can be very confusing and frustrating.
Several items to keep in mind when ordering or changing to new lamps:
Make sure the lamps are purchased from a registered Service Provider.
This list is online for your convenience Service Class
Providers and updated periodically.
Make sure to tell your service provider the original lamp information
written on your tanning unit or in your tanning manual. This
information is helpful so the provider can possibly determine if another type of lamp can
be used in your tanning equipment.
Make sure when you receive your lamps that a compatibility letter is
provided. Also, read the letter to make sure the lamps you purchased correlates with
the original lamp information on your tanning unit. This correlation should be
a direct relationship between the two lamps.
If you have any questions about lamp compatibility or compatibility
letters please do not hesitate to call our office and ask to speak with one of our
inspectors or program coordinator. (Staff
