LAMP COMPATIBILITY

Lamp compatibility information can be very confusing and frustrating.   Several items to keep in mind when ordering or changing to new lamps:

  1. Make sure the lamps are purchased from a registered Service Provider.   This list is online for your convenience Service Class Providers and updated periodically.

  2. Make sure to tell your service provider the original lamp information written on your   tanning unit or in your tanning   manual.  This information is helpful so the provider can possibly determine if another type of lamp can be used in your tanning equipment.

  3. Make sure when you receive your lamps that a compatibility letter is provided.  Also, read the letter to make sure the lamps you purchased correlates with the original lamp information  on your tanning unit.  This correlation should be a direct relationship between the two lamps.

  4. If you have any questions about lamp compatibility or compatibility letters please do not hesitate to call our office and ask to speak with one of our inspectors or program coordinator.  (Staff Directory )
